Our Mission
At Flying Fish Outdoors, we believe that being a serious fisherman means being a serious conservationist. The health of our oceans, reefs, and fisheries directly depends on how we fish today.
We promote responsible fishing practices in every piece of content we create — from proper catch-and-release techniques to understanding bag limits and seasonal regulations. If we don't protect these resources, there won't be anything left to fish for.
What We Stand For
We practice and promote proper catch-and-release techniques — circle hooks, barbless when possible, minimal handling time, and proper revival methods to give every fish the best chance of survival.
Healthy fisheries depend on healthy habitat. We support kelp forest restoration, artificial reef programs, and marine protected areas that serve as nurseries for the species we love to catch.
When we keep fish, we do it responsibly — respecting bag limits, size minimums, and seasonal closures. Regulations exist for a reason, and we follow them to the letter.
The biggest impact we can make is teaching the next generation. Through our content, guides, and community, we educate anglers on why conservation matters and how to practice it.
We partner with local organizations for beach cleanups, harbor maintenance, and marine research. Conservation isn't just a value — it's an action we take every day.
